We wanted to update you on the steps Mole Valley Life are taking to help minimise the spread of COVID-19.
We are continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England carefully. It is of vital importance for us to be in a position to ensure that any and all procedures are in place to support the health and well-being of our service users and staff members.
To help combat the spread of COVID-19, we have been putting precautionary safety measures in place, including:
• Educating our staff in line with government guidelines
• Emphasising frequent and proper hand washing
• Cleaning high contact points more frequently
• Providing hand sanitizer
• Working with partners in health to ensure that we are reacting to latest updates
We have Business Continuity Plans for events such as this in order to maintain a service. This includes running teams in smaller numbers and isolation and our Disaster Recovery site in Runnymede, which is in operation in case we have to close our main Alarm Receiving Centre at Park House.
We are also in the process of upgrading our Call Handling System to allow us to handle calls via a browser to give us further ability to handle calls in the event of further action.
In line with government guidance, we are continuing to operate as usual. We will continue to follow official guidance from the UK Government (link) and Public Health England (link) carefully.
