This is a pressure mat that lies under the mattress or chair cushion, which triggers an alarm when you get out of bed or a chair, either immediately or if you do not return within a set time period.
It can also be set for ‘alert’ if you go to bed by a certain time or haven’t got up at a certain time in the morning.
